Rose, Chinitz & Rose is a Boston-based litigation firm which practices in state and federal trial and appellate courts. The firm concentrates its practice primarily in several areas:

Business Litigation

We represent clients in corporate disputes, including shareholder litigation, contract, fraud claims, unfair business practices, real estate litigation and insurance coverage matters.

Employment Law and Civil Rights Litigation

We represent management in the defense of employment discrimination and other employment litigation, including non-competition and trade secret litigation. The firm also represents senior executives in the negotiation of their employment and severance agreements. We also represent management in federal and state civil rights litigation, including federal section 1983 claims and claims under state law.

College and University Law

We represent many colleges and universities in faculty and tenure-related matters, claims arising from student discipline, employee and student discrimination claims, commercial and construction claims, and internal and regulatory investigations.

Criminal Law

We represent individuals and corporations in state and federal investigations, trials, and appeals in a wide variety of criminal matters, including securities, bank, tax, mail fraud, money laundering, public corruption, and other charges. The firm's Managing Partner, Alan Rose, is a former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the District of Massachusetts.

Representation of Mortgage Lenders and Brokers in Lending Industry Litigation

We represent mortgage lenders and brokers in a wide variety of matters, including employment and customer disputes, and disputes between mortgage industry participants.

Law Firm Representation
