Sammy Nabulsi has been promoted to Partner at Rose Law Partners. Before joining the firm, he spent 3 years with the City of Boston Law Department, where he represented the City in several types of litigation and served as the primary legal advisor for multiple city departments.
Nabulsi is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is a member of many different bar and professional associations. He is also Chairman of the Boston Lobbying Compliance Commission, a member of the board of directors of the Boston Industrial Development Financing Authority, and Treasurer of the board of directors of Historic Boston, Inc.

- Middlesex Superior Court Justice Kenneth Fishman denied the plaintiff’s motion for a preliminary injunction and dismissed the Complaint filed against the firm's client, Google, LLC, finding that the claim against Google, filed by a biotech company claiming to be defamed by a post on Google, was barred by the immunity provisions of the Communications Decency Act of 1997. The case was litigated by Alan D. Rose, Meredith Doty, and Laura Kirshenbaum.

The firm filed an amicus curiae brief on behalf of Harvard University, Boston University, Boston College, and 15 other Massachusetts colleges and universities, in support of the position of MIT in a precedent-setting case in the Supreme Judicial Court, Estate of Nguyen v MIT, et al. The team that wrote the brief included Alan D. Rose, Aidan Flanagan, and Anthony Moriello. -

State Ethics Commission clears the firm's client, a public official. Alan D. Rose, Jr. represented the public official in a lengthy investigation into municipal corruption. -
MARCH 16, 2015
United States Court of Appeals affirms jury verdict for the firm's clients in precedent-setting False Claims Act case. Alan D. Rose and Brian Lipkin had won the jury verdict in 2013. -
FEBRUARY 26, 2015
Middlesex Superior Court denied an injunction sought against the firm's clients, sales managers in the surgical laser industry. The Court refused to impose employment restrictions on the firm’s clients. -
NOVEMBER 2014
The firm wins dismissal of case against a lawyer and his firm alleged to have disparaged a company that was under investigation for not paying employees properly under federal and state law. -
SEPTEMBER 2014
The firm obtains summary judgment in Dukes County Superior against the Edgartown Historic District Commission. Judge rules that the Commission violated its own bylaws with respect to the redevelopment of a residential parcel. -

Federal district court jury returns defense verdicts for the firm's four clients in False Claims Act case, finding no scientific misconduct by the two hospitals and two academic researchers. The precedent-setting case was tried following remand from the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, which reversed a summary judgment the firm had obtained for its clients in 2010. See earlier decisions (750 F.Supp.2d 358 and 678 F.3d 72). The firm’s trial team included Alan Rose, Brian Lipkin, and Anna Andreeva. -
